Parents are also welcome to have their children remain with them during the entire worship service if they so desire
  • Church School
    • Kindergarten through Grade 3 kids, as well as Grades 4 through 6 kids join in the 10:00 am Worship service, then leave for church school following the Children's Sermon.

  • Christian Education begins with worship--- Each Sunday all God's children, young and old, gather together for worship. From the Organ Prelude to the Children's Sermon, and all the prayers and singing in between, children begin to learn what it means to worship God within a community of faith.
  • Children's Sermon. During the school year children are invited forward in the worship service to hear Rev. Mike give a special message based on the dayŐs sermon text.
  • Church School. Following the Children's Sermon, children leave for their church school classes where they will use song, craft and play to explore the same Biblical text(s) and themes being lifted up to their parents in the sermon.
  • Communion. On Communion Sundays children will return to the sanctuary from their classes where they are encouraged to join with their families and indeed the whole congre-gation in celebrating the LordŐs Supper.
  • Youth Group. Through out the year elementary school, as well as Junior and Senior High school kids will be getting together for special events such as bowling, pizza parties, lock-ins, movies & all kinds of other fun stuff!!!
  • Confirmation Class. Beginning in April a confirmation class will be held for all high school kids interested in exploring their faith and joining the church. As part of their journey, a May canoe trip is being planned, with Con-firmation to take place on Pentecost - Sunday May 23rd

"The Whole People of God" is a lectionary based curriculum which uses common scriptural passages and themes to integrate Worship and Education. We welcome your opinions and ideas. We are well aware that each of us has something unique to share and we encourage you to become an active participant in which ever program(s) are of interest to you. We're looking forward to a great year full of fun and fellowship!!!
