THE CABIN BY THE CREEK is a writing of fiction that's intended to refresh an adult's mind to awaken its memories from the past - that being, the simple forms of country life which, perhaps, a few of us had experienced throughout the twilight years of the nineteenth century and continuing into the first few decades of the twentieth century.

This golden era is known to have become a wholesome period of habitual learning for the children of extremely protective and caring parents. Cherished family values forged by firm parental virtues were guiding these young lives to learn the importance of respect and love for their compassionate parents and any other of their piers.

These same sheltering parents responsibly guided their precious families through periods of poverty to prosperity, discontentment's to pleasures, sorrows to happiness while always keeping within sight a strong affection for their GOD whom they recognized as their Creator, loving and respecting Him for it. Fortunately though, the intended writings of this author seemed to have also touched more youthful lives by the results of sales. Perhaps this is, once again, a growing desire to learn of these values taught by the seniors of the past that had become extinct due to complexities of modern living that now permits the relaxation of the importance for genuine family life as it was customarily lived many years ago. Morals learned from this story may once again become interesting reading to the inquisitive, young minds.

This reading is truly a novel expressing the closeness caused by love and appreciation that's found within this family while they live their daily lives. It is a story that can b enjoyed and appreciated by every family member ranging in age from youth through golden maturity.
