How do I get the information I need to research my topic?
We will be doing research in the library for at least 2 classes. I will also write project passes during study hall and the library is also open after school. We will
use computers to access the Internet (CLICK FOR TOBACCO LINKS) and Super Tom Jr. You can also use the Readers Guide and the various books and encyclopedias on your subject.
How much information do I need?
You will need a minimum of 2-3 sources (one internet source, one book source, one magazine source, ect...)
Your paper should be a minimum of 1-2 typed pages when complete. we will be going to the computer lab to word process your final papers.
What will my paper look like?
All research papers must be made up of the following parts:
Introduction (minimum 1 paragraph)...10%
Summary of Research (bulk of the paper)...40%
What you think and learned (2-3 Paragraphs)...20%
Conclusion (minimum one paragraph)...10%

Remember you need a minimum of 2-3 sources. Sources must be documented properly (see guidelines) in a bibliography.
Sources and bibliography count as 20% of your final grade!
